Penske Motor Group is a proud member of the automotive dealership family, and they are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain the dealership's cleanliness and order. The role involves performing day-to-day building maintenance tasks and assisting with various facility needs.

Responsibilities

Maintains the property clean by sweeping and pressure washing the sidewalk and the surrounding area of the dealership

Ensures trash/recycle bins are ready for pick-up by moving them to and from designated location

Performs minor landscaping and utilizes leaf blower around the facilities

Assists the janitorial staff with cleaning public areas, setting up the guest lounge, maintaining restrooms, etc

Operates floor scrubber in various locations

Troubleshoots downed/failing equipment throughout dealership

Performs minor maintenance i.e. replacing lights, plumbing, painting, etc

Performs weekly/monthly inspections to Eye Wash stations, First Aid kits, etc

Sets up, arranges, and removes decorations, tables, chairs, and ladders to prepare facilities for events

Moves heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks throughout the dealership, as needed

Ensures all tools are in good working condition

Fulfills incoming facilities requests from managers & team members from all departments

Assists in all other areas of the dealership, as needed

Maintains high ethical standards in all actions

Maintains a high level of grooming, hygiene, and uniform appearance

Qualification

Required

A high school diploma or equivalent, desired

Previous maintenance experience or related field, desired

Ability to determine causes of operating errors in a facility and deciding what to do about it; operate hand and power tools, equipment, and materials used in maintenance and gardening; read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals; read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language; work well with the public

Must have a valid driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record
