Responsibilities
Define, implement, and maintain enterprise AI governance frameworks promoting ethical, secure, and compliant AI use
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security and compliance from design through deployment
Develop AI security standards aligned with ISO 42001, NIST AI RMF, SANS, CSA, OWASP, and other best practices
Oversee AI/ML solution deployments in on-premises and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) with strong data protection and encryption
Conduct AI security risk assessments, threat modeling, and red team exercises for generative and predictive AI models
Support AI security incident response and remediation planning
Mentor teams and guide stakeholders on AI governance, compliance, and ethical AI adoption
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
7+ years in enterprise architecture, information security, or technology governance
Proven experience implementing governance frameworks, risk strategies, and compliance programs for emerging technologies
Deep understanding of AI/ML lifecycle management, model risk, and AI ethics
Experience working with auditors, regulators, or compliance teams
Proficiency with cloud AI platforms: AWS SageMaker, Azure AI, GCP Vertex
Familiarity with security frameworks: NIST, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, CIS Controls
Strong communication skills and leadership abilities to guide teams effectively
Preferred
Hands-on offensive security experience or prior roles in security engineering, SRE, or administration
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while fostering collaboration and innovation
