They are seeking an experienced Director of Accounting to lead a team managing all aspects of financial reporting, including the monthly close and annual external audit.

Responsibilities
Oversee monthly close process
Coordinate global consolidation
Manage external audit engagement
Coordinate with external accounting firms to maintain tax compliance in all jurisdictions
Monitor evolving FASB guidance to ensure continuing GAAP compliance
Proactively research GAAP requirements for new company activities
Coordinate global consolidation efforts
Develop and supervise Financial Reporting team
Qualification
Required
Experience leading a team of accounting professionals
Extensive experience with U.S. GAAP requirements, including independent research
CPA and/or CMA license
Experience with accounting software (e.g. Sage Intacct)
Experience with multi-entity consolidation, preferably including international operations
Eagerness to continually embrace new challenges at a fast-paced, high-growth company

Experience guiding a company through IPO
Audit experience at a Big 4 firm
