HR Administrative Assistant

Nesco Resource has partnered with a well-established company in critical infrastructure and public service to identify an HR Administrative Assistant. This role involves handling a high volume of HR and Benefits inquiries and processing various HR transactions while maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

Primary tasks involve handling a high volume of Benefits and Human Resources related inquiries through multiple communications channels including service requests, telephone calls, face to face, and virtual interactions; creating detailed case logs using HR Connect to document all interactions and track work in progress and actions taken
Duties include processing a variety of HR and Benefits transactions utilizing a variety of software programs
Will utilize interpersonal and telephone skills in heavy interaction with internal and external customers. Must have good oral and written communication skills, and have the ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities as required
Must exercise confidentiality and strictly adhere to ethical standards of business conduct at all times

Required

Administrative experience within an HR department
Handling a high volume of Benefits and Human Resources related inquiries through multiple communications channels
Creating detailed case logs using HR Connect to document all interactions and track work in progress and actions taken
Processing a variety of HR and Benefits transactions utilizing a variety of software programs
Utilizing interpersonal and telephone skills in heavy interaction with internal and external customers
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities
Exercising confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards of business conduct

Preferred

Knowledge and understanding of employee benefit plans and human resource policies
Demonstrated time management and priority setting skills
Excellent organizational skills
Competent in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
