Responsibilities

Partner with HBG print, central marketing and digital sales teams to conceptualize and execute digital campaigns, elevating storytelling and aligning messages across book formats
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and execute strategies to expand author’s sales, engagement and community connection
Plan, write and edit content for Hachette Audio and HBG website, social media, email marketing, and other digital campaigns. Create or coordinate graphics, photos, and other visual assets to support stories
Lead audiobook live event coverage and create multimedia stories that reflect the audiobook listener’s experience
Experiment with new formats, technologies, and storytelling techniques to keep Hachette Audio’s digital presence innovative and relevant
Maintain editorial calendars, track assignments, and ensure projects meet standards for quality and timeliness
Use analytics to evaluate story effectiveness and audience engagement
Support continuous improvement of processes for content planning, production and publication
Serve as a consultant on digital content and storytelling projects across HBG
Provide training and guidance to colleagues on content best practices, analytics and digital trends
Perform additional related duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, English, or a related field — or an equivalent combination of training and experience
Proven excellence in writing, editing, and storytelling across digital and print platforms
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
5-7 years of professional experience in digital communications, writing, and editing
Proficiency with content management systems (Wordpress preferred), social media management tools, and analytics dashboards
Working knowledge of basic graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
