Responsibilities

Lead strategic sourcing, negotiate volume/multi-year agreements and deliver measurable cost reductions
Own end-to-end procurement for global projects — RFPs, bids, awards, contracts, and supplier performance
Build supplier innovation and co-investment channels to improve tooling, materials and manufacturability
Localize supply chains in India and Africa; manage Asia supplier relationships (China/India)
Draft and execute contract terms that align with project/offtake risk profiles; work closely with legal
Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery to site through proactive scoping, logistics coordination and escalation
Provide real-time market intelligence on cost/schedule risks and drive supplier excellence initiatives

Required

10+ years in procurement/supply-chain with deep industrial/EPC experience (turbines, piping, hot systems, precision metalwork, etc.)
Proven track record in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, supplier management and cost-down programs
Experience with global supply chains (India/China) and multi-national project procurement
Strong commercial and financial acumen; working knowledge of contract law/administration
Exceptional communicator, decisive leader, and hands-on executor willing to travel
