Public Sector Marketing Coordinator

They are seeking a Public Sector Marketing Coordinator to support demand generation efforts in the North American Public Sector markets through effective field programs and collaboration with various teams.

Responsibilities
Execute multiple monthly field events and programs across the Public Sector industries including Federal, State & Local and Education
Program initiatives will influence diverse audiences and venues, encompassing research, budgeting, catering planning, vendor coordination, onsite logistics, and promotional activities to ensure seamless execution
Track all activities, from the leads generated at events to the inventory of promotional items including tasks like replenishing inventory, coordinating shipments & deliveries, tracking expenses, and managing vendors
Conduct research to identify regional marketing events and partnership opportunities, fostering relationships and partnerships with contacts and vendors to facilitate the development of impactful events
Optimize communication and event project coordination leveraging our tech stack. Collaborate on signage, swag, promotional items, shipping, and scheduling for relevant field marketing initiatives
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other teams to ensure events align with the brand, budget, and objectives
Develop and execute social media strategies and postings to enhance brand awareness and elevate the public sector’s market presence. Participate in assigned marketing and community events, managing pre-stage activities, setup, run of show, breakdown, and restocking
Engage in moderate physical activity, handling objects up to 30 pounds, and standing or walking for more than four hours during events and projects. Reliable transportation is required for business-related travel

Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in large-scale event or conference management, with direct ownership of complex, multi-day events
Proven experience leading proprietary events such as user conferences, sales kickoffs, or large internal/external gatherings
Strong background managing vendors, agencies, and production partners
Demonstrated ability to manage large budgets and deliver events on time and within budget
Exceptional organizational skills with a track record of executing against self-imposed deadlines
Proficient in project management tools like Asana
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-visibility environments
Experience in B2B, technology, or SaaS environments
Experience managing global or multi-city events
Familiarity with event technology platforms and registration tools
