This role plays a key role in strengthening fundraising efforts and advancing the organization's mission by managing donor databases and supporting special event planning.
Non-profit Organization Management
Responsibilities
Completes tasks in the donor management system including gift entry, donor acknowledgements, and reporting. Will also assist with donor recognition and recording of in-kind donations
Support fundraising event coordination and logistics by participating in all event and donor engagement committees and overseeing tasks and details
Work with Volunteer Coordinator and Development Director to encourage volunteers to become donors
Contribute other relevant ideas/opportunities to help generate donor activity to the Development Director for consideration
Perform administrative duties as needed including filing, copying, sorting, mailing, etc
Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
A passion for and commitment to MY Place mission
Highly organized, thorough, and detail-oriented with strong project management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Ability to work independently
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
One to three years of experience in an administrative role
