Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the quality assurance program at project sites, ensuring all inspections, materials testing, RFIs, and submittals are completed per owner requirements
Read and interpret plans and specifications at various stages of construction, initiating actions to keep progress on schedule
Perform detailed construction management tasks, including reviewing design specifications, coordinating activities, and monitoring progress using advanced knowledge and experience
Prepare and maintain project documentation, adhering to scope, schedule, and budget
Solve on-site problems and implement design modifications as needed
Coordinate across Olsson teams and work closely with project managers to report progress and address potential issues
May supervise, coordinate, and review work for less experienced staff members
Maintain project and client information in the firm’s project management system
Work in all types of terrain and weather conditions at project sites in various stages of construction

Required

Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or other applicable field
A minimum of six years of experience in construction management and inspection
Strong attention to detail
Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and codes
Valid drivers license and a good driving history
Schedule flexibility

Preferred

American Concrete Institute (ACI) Field Grade 1, Nuclear Gauge Safety Training, and OSHA 10 or OSHA30 certifications, preferred but not required
