Human Resources Assistant (Part Time)
Advent Talent Group is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to provide administrative support for the efficient operation of the HR department at a mission-driven organization. This role involves managing day-to-day HR functions, maintaining accurate records, responding to inquiries, and assisting with hiring and onboarding processes.
Responsibilities
Support day-to-day HR operations, including responding to general inquiries and escalating complex issues as needed
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of employee records; conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance
Provide administrative support for recruitment and onboarding processes, including job postings, interview scheduling, background checks, and employment documentation
Manage HR systems and records (electronic and paper), track personnel data, and process invoices in accordance with policies and regulations
Coordinate with external vendors and benefits providers; assist with benefits enrollment and HR-related events
Monitor HR inboxes and calendars, ensuring timely responses and task completion
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years of HR experience
Strong knowledge of HR processes, policies, and recordkeeping
Experience with HRIS (UKG preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to generate and analyze HR data and reports
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to manage confidential information
Ability to work independently
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful workplace
