Customer Service - Patient Account Specialist

They are seeking a Patient Account Specialist who will provide exceptional customer service, comply with relevant laws, and assist consumers in identifying repayment options.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and clients
Comply with HIPAA and State Consumer Protection Laws
Establish contact with consumers to discuss ability/willingness to pay to identify the appropriate repayment programs/options available to them
Record accurate and detailed notes; update account status and consumer's information into the FACS computer system, fill out accurate forms and update the clients system, if required
Meet or exceed daily, weekly and monthly performance goals, deadlines and objectives
Assist in building a positive team environment
Arrive punctual prior to the start of your scheduled shift; schedule time off in advance

Required

Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and clients

Self-motivated individual with strong customer service attitude
Computer, communication and math skills
Excellent written and oral communication along with good analytical skills of situations
High school graduate or equivalent required

Preferred

One (1) year of customer service and/or medical collection background is preferred
