Responsibilities
Manage accounts receivable processes, including monthly A/R billing entries into ERP system, maintaining the monthly billing tracker, and sending out a monthly status report to the business units
Responsible for all credit card related tasks, including ordering new cards, updating limits as approved, reviewing/reconciling statements monthly, and entering transactions into ERP system
Responsible for the process of receiving, scanning, labeling, and uploading of all project compliance notices
Manage removal of holds on payables and ensure proper release documents are attained
Prepare various monthly/quarterly intercompany invoices for entry into ERP system
Prepare monthly journal entries, accruals, and other adjusting entries to support month-end close
Record, reconcile, and maintain general ledger accounts in accordance with GAAP
Assist with year-end audits as required
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
1-2 years of experience accounting or related field
Team-oriented approach with the ability to work independently when required
High attention to detail; must possess the confidence that work product is accurate and complete
Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively
Initiative and problem-solving capabilities to address complex cost and accounting challenges
Knowledge of Viewpoint Spectrum ERP or similar construction accounting ERP
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including conditional formulas and formatting
Emotional intelligence
Preferred
Experience with construction preferred but not required
