Desktop Support Technician

Blupace Tech is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist L2 to provide technical support for end users. The role involves installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, as well as handling incident resolution and ensuring smooth operations of IT systems.

Responsibilities

Provide Level 2 desktop and technical support for end users across the site
Perform installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
Support Windows OS, iOS devices (iPhones/iPads) for tracking hardware and software
Handle incident resolution related to hardware failures, OS issues, application errors, login/AD problems, and network connectivity
Perform system imaging, device upgrades, patching, and deployment of new equipment
Support network-related issues, including VPN, switches, wireless access points, and basic LAN troubleshooting
Conduct daily health checks on systems, hardware, and network components to ensure smooth operations
Maintain accurate IT inventory including laptops, desktops, monitors, accessories, and licensed software using AMC/asset management systems
Collaborate with IT teams to resolve escalations, system outages, and cross-functional technical issues
Provide on-site and occasional after-hours support for priority incidents or scheduled maintenance

Required

High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of IT support experience, OR
Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 3+ years of hands-on experience
Strong hands-on expertise with Windows OS, desktop hardware, printers, and common enterprise applications
Experience supporting iOS mobile devices (setup, troubleshooting, configuration, MDM tools preferred)
Experience with hardware repair, imaging tools, deployment processes, and system upgrades
Strong communication, customer service, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities
