Customer Service Representative II
The City of Fort Worth is one of the fastest growing large cities in the U.S. and is seeking a Customer Service Representative II for the Code Compliance – Animal Care & Control Division. This role involves providing quality client service to citizens, processing animal outcomes, and educating the public on responsible pet ownership.

Responsibilities
Provides a wide variety of general customer services in support of shelter operations
Performs a variety of general clerical functions. Maintains and updates complex filing systems, processes forms, reports and inventory. Prepares general correspondence
Performs calculations and monetary transactions
Responds to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and efficient manner via email, phone and face to face
Resolves problems within area of assignment. Explain applicable policies and procedures
Adheres to assigned work schedule as outlined in the Department and City attendance policies and procedures; ensures all behaviors comply with the City’s Personnel Rules and Regulations
Qualification
Required
High school diploma/GED
Two (2) years responsible customer service experience within the area of assignment
Must pass Drug Screen, Physical
Preferred
Microsoft Word, Excel and data entry experience preferred
Extensive cash handling and public contact work experience preferred
Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are preferred
Knowledge of PetPoint Software
