10+ years expAdvantage Capital is seeking a Vice President of Origination and Execution to join their renewables finance team. This role involves expanding efforts in identifying, structuring, and executing renewable energy projects, requiring a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the renewable energy market.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement the originations and execution strategy for financing renewable energy & supply chain projects, aligning with company goals, institutional investor criteria, compliance based state and federal programs, and market opportunities
Lead the structuring and negotiation of financial agreements, ensuring optimal financing solutions for projects while managing risk
Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities in renewable energy sectors, including solar, wind, and emerging technologies
Build and maintain strong relationships with project developers, investors, governmental agencies, colleagues, and other stakeholders to drive successful project execution and long-term growth
Mentor and manage a high-performing team of professionals in the origination and execution of financing renewable energy and supply chain opportunities
Conduct comprehensive market research and sufficient analysis to be recognized as a subject matter expert on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape
Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations to senior management and stakeholders, outlining project opportunities, risks, and recommendations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, environmental science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
10+ years of experience in renewables (Solar/BESS/Wind) transactions
Ability to effectively run simultaneous deals from origination, to structuring, and close
Demonstrate ability to effectively source and originate deals from network
Detailed knowledge of project finance and tax equity across multiple structures
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while managing multiple projects and priorities
Passion for renewable energy and commitment to sustainability
Intellectual curiosity and desire for continuous learning
Preferred
MBA or advanced degree preferred
Preference for hybrid working model close to an existing office
