Responsibilities

Edit and publish new financial content to help readers understand investing, financial planning, homebuying, retirement planning, and more
Edit and update existing articles in Investopedia’s library for timeliness, freshness, style, and accuracy
Follow Investopedia and People Inc.'s best practices and style guides
Collaborate with the Investopedia staff, as well as freelance writers and editors, on editorial projects

Required

3 to 5 years of experience editing and publishing investing or finance content with well-respected outlets
15 hours per week to commit to this role
Strong editorial skills, including demonstrated experience line editing for content improvements, grammar, AP style, and fact checking
Experience with SEO best practices
Deep knowledge of personal finance topics, such as financial planning, retirement planning, and investing
Superior organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
Technological savvy
