Responsibilities
Work across functional teams to ensure video, audio and metadata content meet necessary technical, quality and client requirements. This includes testing within IFE hardware environments onsite at Anuvu and off site at hardware manufacturers
Document and communicate results of testing to key stakeholders; Including administrative tasks – completing testing grids, opening trouble tickets, documenting when corrections have been verified, and summarizing results
Chase and monitor delivery of media encodes to ensure adherence to critical path timelines
Input and manage metadata in database systems
Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues during rack testing; escalating appropriately when required
Exemplify the company core values and behaviours
Accountable for delivering departmental outcomes
Offer and provide feedback for departmental continuous improvement processes
Qualification
Required
Strong understanding of video/film formats
Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
Highly effective problem solver able to assess, adapt and action changing priorities and strategies
Able to succeed and thrive in a dynamic, innovative, deadline driven environment
Attention to detail and tenacity
Ability to collaborate and influence others to meet shared deadlines and goals
