Responsibilities

Daily operation of the mechanical plant and associated HVAC systems at the Virginia Beach Convention Center

Maintain a valid HVAC Journeyman’s License

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to HVAC equipment and related equipment

Perform inspections and provides necessary reporting and recommendations

Requisition necessary parts, materials supplies and equipment from Facilities maintenance manager

Maintain oversight of related contractors and checks work for compliance

Supervises full time and part time assigned personnel when necessary

Perform other building maintenance tasks as assigned

Perform related tasks when needed

Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients

Ability to work Monday -Friday 7:00 AM-3:30 PM with rotating weekend shifts some holidays and schedule adjustments based on schedule of events and emergency needs
