The Shared Services Manager/Senior Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing centralized business operations across multiple functions and locations, focusing on driving operational efficiency and service excellence.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations of the shared services function, ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent service delivery across supported business units
Establish and enforce standardized processes, controls, and service-level expectations
Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency
Lead, coach, and develop a team of shared services professionals
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Support workforce planning, performance management, and talent development initiatives
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce manual processes, and improve scalability
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders on system enhancements, automation, and transformation initiatives
Support integration activities related to acquisitions or business growth, as applicable
Serve as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders across Finance, HR, Operations, and IT
Communicate effectively with leadership on performance, risks, and improvement opportunities
Ensure high levels of internal customer satisfaction and service quality
Travel to regional or operational locations as needed to support process alignment, training, and stakeholder relationships

Required

5+ years of experience in shared services, operations, finance operations, or a related environment
Prior experience managing teams and leading cross-functional initiatives
Strong understanding of shared services models, centralized operations, and process optimization
Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Operations, or a related field
Experience with ERP, HRIS, or enterprise systems
Advanced Excel and reporting skills
