Power Pricing Analyst II

Responsibilities
Participate in the pricing, structuring, load management and profitability analysis of the Engie Resources (Supply) B2B power
Research complex business problems and identify opportunities to design, develop, and propose actionable solutions in support of pricing and load management activities
Support the development and enhancement of models and system platforms to support pricing and load management activities
Analyze the usage and product features associated with serving customers on various retail power products
Assign and price product structures as appropriate and in accordance with the Engie Resources product catalog and risk guidelines
Book executed retail transactions into the risk system
Thoroughly research and produce ad-hoc analysis on customer load characteristics, various cost components and regulatory issues to enhance competitiveness, optimize risk exposure and improve the profitability of the retail portfolio
Qualification
Required
This role requires a minimum educational level of a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Business, Economics, Engineering, Accounting, Mathematics, or Computer Science
In lieu of a degree, we will accept five (5) years of relevant professional experience where you gained hands-on expertise in data analysis, pricing strategies, forecasting methodologies, or other core functions related to the B2B industry
This role requires a minimum of two (2) years of work-related B2B experience in the power industry
You are a strategic problem solver with strong analytical and statistical skills and can clearly communicate complex technical analysis to both technical teams and senior leadership
You have an understanding of energy market fundamentals, including customer usage patterns and pricing methodologies
You are knowledgeable in leveraging large data sets to uncover insights into customer buying behavior, competitive trends, and segment profitability
You are proficient in Power BI, SQL, and VB, and apply these tools effectively to support data-driven decision-making, with the ability to perform quick and accurate mental math
You collaborate cross-functionally to support new product development and contribute to business growth
Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
