Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain network security policies, procedures, and architecture
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities
Deploy and manage security tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs
Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and perform security analysis
Perform and lead incident response and recovery after a security breach
Lead troubleshooting and resolution for high-severity network security incidents
Lead and mentor a team of security specialists
Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure security is integrated into new and existing systems
Provide security awareness training to employees
Stay informed about emerging threats and new technologies to proactively improve defenses
Coordinate management of Firewall, Proxy, NAC, and Vulnerability assessment
Monitor IT security operations
Provide support for incoming queries and issues related to IT security
Assess information security policy to meet current security trends
Work with business teams to understand security requirements and suggest solutions
Provide accurate reports that demonstrate performance, drive improvement, and prevent issues through various dashboards
Conduct periodical reviews of IT security to ensure appropriate security implementation
Manage firewall configurations, including backup and restore, VPNs, rule base changes, and URL filtering
Manage availability and monitoring of infrastructure like management consoles and integrated tools
Conduct break-fix activities to support and resolve incidents related to site categorization, whitelisting, and endpoint agents
Troubleshoot client-related issues and proxy settings
Troubleshoot browser-related issues like site compatibility and blocked URLs
Perform basic network troubleshooting like DNS issues, site reachability, and port issues
Qualification
Required
Network Security - 10 years of experience required!
Experience in managing IT security operations
Managing security technologies and solutions like Firewall Management (preferably Fortinet, Cisco, or Palo Alto)
Strong oral and written communication skills in English
Project Management skills
Reporting and Governance skills
