Responsibilities

Assist in the evaluation of acquisition opportunities by conducting preliminary financial analysis, building early stage models, reviewing financial statements, and preparing materials for internal review
Coordinate with the Director of Investor Relations and Strategic Finance on financial diligence activities, including model updates, valuation support, and preparation of deal summaries
Serve as the operational hub of the diligence process
Create and maintain diligence trackers, organize and administer data rooms, monitor workstream progress, gather information from internal teams and external parties, and ensure all participants have timely access to required documents
Track key questions, open items, risk flags, and decisions throughout the process
Work with internal stakeholders across operations, finance, technology, legal, HR, and commercial teams to collect data, schedule diligence sessions, and support the synthesis of findings
Ensure information flows accurately and efficiently between workstreams and leadership
Support the Vice President of Corporate Development on non financial diligence needs such as market analysis, customer evaluation, and target research
Assist the Vice President of Corporate Development with pipeline development by researching markets, identifying potential targets, reviewing inbound opportunities, and preparing briefing documents
Maintain pipeline databases and ensure opportunities are accurately tracked and updated
Prepare presentation materials for internal and executive audiences, including financial summaries, diligence findings, investment committee memos, and management meeting documents
Ensure documentation is organized, consistent, and adheres to internal standards
Help build scalable CorpDev processes by developing templates, checklists, trackers, and workflows
Contribute to codifying best practices as the company continues to grow

Required

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related field
Two to four years of experience in investment banking, private equity, transaction services, corporate development, or a similar analytical environment
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, including comfort working with financial statements and valuation methods
Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines
High attention to detail and exceptional organization
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interface across seniority levels
Proactive mindset with an ability to operate under limited supervision and maintain confidentiality

Experience working with data rooms and diligence processes
