Supporting financial audits

Assisting in improving and implementing payroll-related processes and procedures
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in payroll systems, regulatory compliance, and payroll tax laws
Strong accounting and financial reconciliation skills, including attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
Analytical skills and the ability to identify and address discrepancies
Excellent organizational and time management abilities to meet strict deadlines
Relevant experience in payroll or accounting, ideally within transportation or similar industries
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
Preferred
Familiarity with unionized workforce payroll systems is a plus
