Coronado Fitness Center Manager
Hot Springs Village POA is seeking a Coronado Fitness Center Manager to supervise the operations and maintenance of the fitness center. This role involves ensuring outstanding customer service, managing staff, and maintaining facility safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities
Must have a thorough knowledge of rules and regulations of the fitness equipment and the swimming pool and enforcement of same
In order to perform required duties, employee must maintain a high level of physical fitness through a regular program of strength training and cardiovascular exercise
Effectively recruit, train and supervise personnel within their division, including life guarding and class instruction
Ability to work with staff in implementing new programs, including additional classes and organizing special events
Maintain records, daily reports, records of events and all other reports as needed
Must be knowledgeable of building, equipment and pool maintenance, inventory and supplies
Must have knowledge of budget and implementation of same
Maintain a safe and clean facility at all times, placing a high priority on facility maintenance
Develop and implement marketing plan to ensure continued growth and stability of fitness center
May be required to drive POA vehicle or personal vehicle while conducting POA business
Regular attendance is required
Any other related duties as assigned by Supervisor
Deliver outstanding customer service, making every effort to accommodate customer needs
Ensure the safety of patrons and staff through accident prevention and safety policy, enforcing all facility and recreation location rules and regulations
Have a thorough knowledge of rules, regulations and operational use with regard to POA amenity use
Maintain a safe, clean amenity/facility at all times
Instruct classes, both land and water
Qualification
Required
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Recreation Exercise Physiology or related field and three years supervisory experience or equivalent experience in the recreation field
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
Either hold or have on staff a Certified Pool Operator or Aquatic Facility Operator Certificate holder
CPR for the Professional Rescuer
Requires a valid Arkansas driver's license and clean driving record with proof of liability insurance
