Responsibilities

Interpret CAD models and drawings for manufacturability

Create technical drawings, assembly diagrams, and SOPs for the component assembly

Collaborate with design and production teams to refine modular components

Program and operate CNC machines for precision cutting, milling, and post-processing of parts

Perform hands-on fabrication, carpentry, and assembly of modular furniture systems

Integrate 3D-printed parts with traditional materials (wood, metal, composites)

Construct prototypes and test assemblies for new product development

Support R&D initiatives by experimenting with hybrid manufacturing methods

Work closely with technicians and operators to align fabrication with production schedules

Ensure adherence to safety standards and SOPs in fabrication areas

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field

3+ years of experience in fabrication, CNC programming, woodworking, or mechanical engineering

Proficiency in CAD & CAM software (Fusion 360 preferred)

Hands-on experience with CNC machines, woodworking tools, and fabrication equipment

Strong understanding of materials (wood, metals, composites, polymers)

Ability to bridge digital design with physical building and assembly

Strong communication and collaboration skills
