Responsible for providing direction to the processing, tooling and maintenance group, who develop projects, processes and procedures to improve customer satisfaction, efficiency, profitability and compliance
Responsible for developing layout of facilities, equipment and operations for better utilization of space and labor
Provides cost estimations for equipment, schedules
Reviews drawings and documents new equipment, technical documents, and establishes and implements engineering standards
Has direct input to the annual budget which includes capital, expenses, and prioritizes and analyzes anticipated versus actual expenditures; and
Responsible for selecting equipment suppliers, which may require travel
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering
2 years of Manufacturing Engineer, Continuous Improvement Engineer, or related experience
