Responsibilities
Own the full accounting function, including general ledger, close, financial reporting, technical accounting, and internal controls
Lead and execute the implementation of NetSuite as the company’s core ERP, including process design, controls, and post-implementation optimization
Drive a disciplined monthly, quarterly, and annual close process with accuracy, timeliness, and transparency
Prepare and oversee GAAP financial statements and related reporting for executive leadership and investors
Partner closely with the CFO and broader leadership team on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
Build, lead, and mentor a growing accounting team, setting high standards while fostering development and accountability
Establish scalable policies, procedures, and controls appropriate for a high-growth, well-capitalized environment
Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and other third-party partners
Bring an owner’s mindset to continuously improve systems, processes, and outcomes across the finance function
Qualification
Required
Experience in high-growth environments, ideally within eCommerce, CPG, or consumer-driven businesses
Hands-on leader who is comfortable rolling up sleeves while also thinking strategically
Natural business partner with strong judgment, presence, and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to scale teams, processes, and controls in growing organizations
Owner-oriented mindset with a genuine interest in the success of the business, not just the function
Preferred
Strong foundation in public accounting; Big 4 or top-tier national firm experience preferred
CPA preferred
Prior experience leading ERP implementations, with NetSuite experience strongly preferred
