North Star Resource Group, through its strategic partner Fortune Financial, is seeking a Financial Coordinator to support client relationships and operational functions within an advisor’s practice. This role serves as a critical support function and provides an opportunity for growth into an advisory position with the Altman Team.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with online account access, provide policy information and/or initiate requested informational changes (phone numbers, address, email, etc.)

Assist in managing advisor calendar, including scheduling client meetings, and tracking/scheduling annual reviews

Handle client correspondence and marketing initiatives

Assist in preparing all client information for meetings

Complete insurance applications, run illustrations, order labs; monitor and track the application process from beginning to end

Act as liaison between client, producer and carrier

Prepare information for client meetings

Complete securities applications, monitor and track, transfer, deposit, and redemption of assets in client accounts

Accept and execute client trade instructions and portfolio rebalancing if properly registered

Sort advisor’s daily mail, keep client folders current, etc. We are a “paperless” office, filing is done via scanning into electronic files
