NEOGOV is seeking an Information Technology Consultant I to support Midlands Technical College. The role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining PC systems and related equipment, utilizing diagnostic tools to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

Install, repair and maintain PC systems, peripheral equipment, multimedia systems, and other computer related equipment

Uses diagnostic tools and software to determine and resolve problems

Repair a variety of audio, video and electronic office equipment

Qualification

Required

Associate degree in electronics or electronic servicing with a minimum of three (3) years direct experience in computer/telecommunications repair

A high school diploma and five (5) years experience in computer programming, computer operations or electronics technology may be substituted for the required work experience

Preferred

A+ certification is preferred

Employee must have a combination of training and/or experience which provides a solid foundation of knowledge of computing, telecommunications and related equipment

Employee must have general understanding of audiovisual and other electronic devices/circuits

Must be able to design (or implement design of), build and program digital and analog circuits interfacing devices under test

Must be able to communicate clearly, both in oral and written form

Ability to use/interpret highly technical manuals is essential

Ability to develop technical reports and documentation is necessary
