Research Analyst

Harba Solutions Inc. is partnering with The Indiana University School of Medicine to offer a Research Analyst position in the Stark Neurosciences Research Institute. The successful candidate will coordinate and execute experimental studies related to traumatic brain injury and Alzheimer’s disease, contributing to ongoing and newly funded research projects.

Responsibilities

Perform complex and detailed laboratory experiments related to TBI and AD research
Conduct in vivo and ex vivo studies using mouse models of neurodegeneration and brain injury
Assist with tissue processing, immunohistochemistry, microscopy, and image analysis
Perform molecular biology assays, including RNA and DNA extraction and qPCR
Organize, analyze, and maintain experimental data and research records
Coordinate day-to-day experimental workflows across multiple projects
Maintain laboratory organization, inventory, and compliance with safety protocols
Assist with training and mentoring of junior staff, students, and trainees
Contribute to the preparation of figures, reports, and data for publications and grant applications
Participate in lab meetings, project discussions, and collaborative research efforts

Required

Bachelor's degree in neuroscience, biology, biochemistry, immunology, pathology, or a related biomedical field

Attention to detail and data accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a research environment
Strong commitment to scientific rigor and quality

Preferred

Master's degree in a related scientific discipline
Experience with mouse models
Experience in neurobiology, neuroinflammation, or neurodegenerative disease research
Willingness to work with rodents
Experience with immunohistochemistry, microscopy, or molecular assays
Curiosity, motivation, and enthusiasm for neuroscience research
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
