Responsibilities
Assist the principal investigator with experimental design, execution, data collection, and interpretation
Assist with laboratory staff training and oversee students performing procedures and experiments
Maintain laboratory records and inventory for long-term sample storage
Responsible for ordering supplies and day-to-day lab budgeting
Ensure compliance with laboratory safety guidelines
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in the field of Life Sciences or related field
Highly motivated, skilled, and dynamic individual
Good organization skills and ability to handle multiple projects
Good oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Aptitude for quick learning and multi-tasking is critical
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Knowledge of standard concepts, good laboratory practices, and procedures
Ability to lift and carry up to 10 lbs unassisted
Stationary position (sitting or standing) up to 75% of the time
Preferred
Previous experience with mammalian cell culture, aseptic techniques, and other laboratory techniques
