Maintenance Planner
GEM Technologies, Inc. is an award-winning federal contractor specializing in environmental, construction, facility management, and technical services. They are seeking a Maintenance Planner to support the Los Alamos National Laboratory, responsible for developing work packages and reviewing maintenance procedures for various equipment types.
Staffing & Recruiting
Responsibilities
Develops and/or reviews work packages including time, material, and labor estimates related to preventative and corrective maintenance
Develops and/or reviews written step-by-step work instructions, procedures, and/or safety and testing requirements for the implementation and control of operations, maintenance, or modification of work activities within a given facility or area
Specific planning duties may be related to mechanical, electrical, chemical and/or radiological equipment, policies, and procedures
Resolves work restraints and bring work packages to final closure
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree and 12+ years of relevant experience
Must be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work
Must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed
Must have experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
