Responsibilities
Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety policies and procedures
Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety policies and procedures
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Adhere to all quality assurance policies and procedures
Communicate production and quality updates to supervisor and complete daily productivity reports as required
Achieve daily production goals as required by production supervisor and program manager
Adhere to all quality assurance policies and procedures
Operate CNC grinding machine to achieve material removal on metallic and rubber products
Operate CNC and manual grinding lathe to smooth or polish the surface of metallic and rubber products
Load material onto CNC and manual grinding lathes using the proper tools and mechanisms
Maintain product specifications by observing grinding operations, taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, and replacing worn tools as necessary
Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, troubleshooting malfunctions, and notifying maintenance for repairs
Additional responsibilities as assigned by production supervisor
Qualification
Required
High School degree or GED equivalent
Minimum of 2+ years experience working in a manufacturing environment and/or with machine experience
Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety policies and procedures
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Adhere to all quality assurance policies and procedures
Communicate production and quality updates to supervisor and complete daily productivity reports as required
Achieve daily production goals as required by production supervisor and program manager
Operate CNC grinding machine to achieve material removal on metallic and rubber products
Operate CNC and manual grinding lathe to smooth or polish the surface of metallic and rubber products
Load material onto CNC and manual grinding lathes using the proper tools and mechanisms

Ability to lift and manipulate 40 lbs
Excellent close and distant vision
