Associate Attorney - Real Estate Administrative Law
Limitless Workforce is a premier New York City real estate law platform handling sophisticated administrative and landlord-tenant matters. The Associate Attorney will work on high-impact rent regulation and administrative law cases, engaging in litigation and providing strategic advisory services.
Responsibilities
Litigate administrative law matters before DHCR, OATH, NYC Commission on Human Rights, NYS Division of Human Rights, and New York Supreme Courts
Defend complex claims involving rent overcharge, succession, harassment, discrimination, and deregulation issues
Draft Article 78 petitions, agency answers and replies, and related motion practice
Conduct administrative and rent regulatory due diligence
Advise clients on the Rent Stabilization Law and Code and Rent and Eviction Regulations
Contribute to client-facing thought leadership, publications, and marketing initiatives
Collaborate closely with a team of experienced real estate attorneys on strategic matters
Qualification
Required
J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school with strong academic credentials
Active New York State Bar membership in good standing
3–5 years of experience in real estate administrative law and/or landlord-tenant litigation
Deep working knowledge of the Rent Stabilization Law and Code
Experience with DHCR proceedings and administrative agency practice required
Strong legal writing, analytical, and negotiation skills
Ability to manage matters independently while working collaboratively
Interest in business development and client relationship building
Preferred
Familiarity with Fair Housing laws, NYC Human Rights Law, and substantial rehabilitation deregulation is a plus

A portable book of business is welcome but not required
