Responsibilities
This position is responsible for evaluating the quality of the product while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures
This position is located within a poultry processing facility and requires the successful candidate to work with and around heavy machinery and sharp objects (including knives) in a damp or wet environment
The successful candidate will be responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures
Applicants will be considered for any general labor type opening on any shift, such as day (1st), evening(2nd) or night (3rd) shift
Applicants will be considered for openings in any department that may include, but are not limited to Evisceration, debone, further processing, and packing
Position may require you to work in temperatures as hot as 90 degrees and as cold as 48 degrees
Standing for 8 to 10 hours per day is required; a typical day also includes repetitious walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching
Must be able to lift 40 pounds at any given time
Must be willing to perform some jobs at elevated heights
Must be willing to work weekends and overtime if scheduled
