The Interventional Procedures Tech II in the Cath Lab is responsible for ensuring radiation safety, assisting in interventional procedures, maintaining equipment, and managing supplies.

Responsibilities

Responsible radiation safety and protection of all team members during and after a procedure

Cross train to assist the physician to perform IR and/or Cath procedure (scrub the case); record/monitor the procedure; or circulate the procedure

Maintain equipment used during the procedure

Charge and complete all required documentation for procedures

Assist in supply management and restocking of supplies in IR/Cath labs

Qualification

IEMA licenseARRT RegisteredCertification in RadiologyCPR/BLS CertificationAngiography experienceIntercommunication skillsComputer skills

Required

IEMA license and ARRT Registered required

Certification or Associate's degree in Radiology from an accredited program

CPR/ BLS Certification required

Previous experience as an Angiography technologist desirable

Excelled intercommunication and computer skills
