Responsibilities
Review interviewer notes, transcripts, and recorded materials to fully understand each customer story
Quickly develop a story strategy that aligns customer outcomes with client messaging and positioning
Write clear, authoritative, on-brand case studies using client-specific style guides
Accurately incorporate metrics, technical details, and quotable executive statements
Collaborate with editors and internal teams to ensure quality and consistency
Qualification
Required
5+ years of professional experience writing enterprise B2B or technical content (agency, in-house, or journalism)
Experience writing customer case studies or customer evidence for large or recognizable companies
Comfortable interviewing or writing for technical and executive-level audiences
Ability to move confidently between multiple brand voices and style guides without confusion
Understanding of agency workflows, client approvals, and the realities of enterprise review cycles
Ability to work efficiently because of prior experience, not because of shortcuts
Minimum availability of 15 hours per week
Ability to respond to assignment requests within one business day
Occasional availability for expedited assignments with 1–2 business day turnaround
Preferred
Experience with complex technical products or platforms
Experience in regulated or high-risk industries
Experience writing for senior customer stakeholders (C-suite, VP, Director level)
