Responsibilities
Assisting in researching, preparing, coordinating, and drafting applicable administrative rules sets under the jurisdiction of the bureau
Researching other states’ standards and national professional and care standards
Gathering input from various Michigan professional and provider associations
Revising the nurse aide or homes for the aged rules sets
Creating new rules sets for medication aides or birthing centers in accordance with the Public Health Code, 1978 PA 368
Qualification
Required
Current enrollment in high school, vocational or technical school, or post-secondary educational institution
The student must provide evidence of enrollment or acceptance to an educational institution
Preferred
Bachelors in a healthcare related field and currently pursuing a master's degree preferred
Strongly prefer completion of courses in research and statistics
