Responsibilities

Provides enterprise-wide strategic leadership by defining and governing the organization’s technology architecture to ensure alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and long-term growth

Leads architectural governance and decision-making across multiple systems, platforms, and teams, ensuring scalability, security, integration, and cost-effective technology investments

Advises executive leadership (C-suite) on technology roadmaps, digital transformation initiatives, and future-ready solutions to support sustainable business expansion

Translate product requirements into architectural documents and diagrams

Maintain architectural documents and ensure they are always updated to reflect the current state of the application

Make architectural decisions with respect to any feature that’s to be added to an application

Ensure that the architectural direction of an application is in line with the strategic direction of the product

Perform code reviews and ensure efficient code engineering

Ensure applications are implemented using software engineering best practices

Be responsible for the stability and reliability of products under your purview

Create and enforce processes that improve developer efficiency and productivity

Participate in the screening of engineers for hire

Provide mentorship to young engineers

Required

At least 5 years of proven experience as a Software Architect or Lead Software Engineer

Experience in software development and coding in at least one of the languages Java or PHP (Laravel framework) Programming Language

Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture at an enterprise scale

Excellent knowledge of UML and other modeling methods

Familiarity with HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Frontend frameworks like React/Vue, and UI/UX design

Understanding of software quality assurance principles

A technical mindset with great attention to detail

High-quality organizational and leadership skills

Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
