Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage edge computing infrastructure using the ZEDEDA platform
Onboard and manage edge devices, including hardware provisioning, lifecycle management, and monitoring
Deploy and operate containerized and VM-based workloads at the edge
Integrate ZEDEDA with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines
Implement secure networking, identity, and access control for edge devices and applications
Monitor system health, performance, and availability; troubleshoot edge-related issues
Automate deployments and configurations using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
Collaborate with application teams to optimize workloads for edge environments
Ensure compliance with security, reliability, and operational best practices
Document architectures, processes, and operational runbooks
Qualification
Required
experience implementing Zededa Edge Orchestration Platform
experience Implementing secure networking, identity, and access control for edge devices and applications
Manufacturing Experience
3+ years of experience in edge computing, cloud infrastructure, or DevOps engineering
Hands-on experience with ZEDEDA or similar edge orchestration platforms
Strong understanding of Linux systems, networking, and virtualization
Experience with containers (Docker) and orchestration concepts
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience with CI/CD tools and automation
Understanding of security principles for distributed systems (PKI, certificates, secure boot)
Preferred
Familiarity with Kubernetes or K3s (edge-focused deployments preferred)
