This role involves leading talent acquisition, promoting inclusive employee experiences, and ensuring the execution of HR programs and processes for the hourly workforce.

Responsibilities

Lead hourly talent acquisition; partner with Group Leaders to define competencies for openings
Promote inclusive employee experiences; support communication, engagement, retention, and community events
Drive onboarding, performance, training; administer recognition programs, job changes, separations
Ensure consistent application and execution of HR programs/processes
Maintain accurate HRIS updates across the employee lifecycle
Investigate employee relations matters and act as escalation point
Provide flexibility to support employees across all shifts

Required

3+ years' of HR Generalist experience in manufacturing/industrial environments
Employee relations: investigations, coaching, disciplinary actions, timecards, attendance write-ups
Hourly talent acquisition: sourcing, interviewing, onboarding production/plant roles
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; trusted partner across all levels
Proficiency in Michigan labor laws
HRIS experience; maintain accurate career/lifecycle changes
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, discretion with confidential info
Ability to support multi-shift operations and be flexible across all shifts (including occasional early hours)
Microsoft Office proficiency; problem-solving, decision-making in fast-paced environment
Ability to influence and coach leaders to drive positive employee outcomes

Preferred

Workday experience
PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
