Responsibilities
Define AI Governance: Design and implement the foundational frameworks that govern ethical and secure AI use across the global enterprise
Policy Development: Create and enforce AI security standards and policies aligned with industry benchmarks (ISO 42001, NIST AI RMF, CSA, OWASP)
Strategic Advisory: Act as the primary subject matter expert for leadership, guiding stakeholders on the security implications of Generative and Predictive AI
Risk Assessment: Lead AI-specific threat modeling, risk assessments, and red team exercises to protect sensitive data and proprietary models
Secure Implementation: Oversee the deployment of AI/ML solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), ensuring robust encryption and data protection
Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with business units to embed "Security by Design" into the AI lifecycle, from development to monitoring
Incident & Compliance: Support AI security incident response and work closely with auditors and regulators to ensure global compliance
Qualification
Required
7+ years in Information Security, Enterprise Architecture, or Technology Governance
Proven success in building governance frameworks and risk strategies specifically for AI/ML lifecycles
Hands-on experience with cloud-native AI platforms (e.g., AWS SageMaker/Bedrock, Azure AI, GCP Vertex AI)
Deep familiarity with security and AI standards (NIST, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, CIS Controls)
Exceptional ability to translate complex AI risks into actionable business policies for stakeholders at all levels
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
Preferred
Recent, hands-on experience drafting AI usage policies for large-scale organizations
Experience with AI red-teaming or offensive security tools
Prior experience in Engineering, Site Reliability, or Administration that informs your architectural decisions
