Responsibilities

Lead the design development and deployment of cloud native applications leveraging Java and AWS API Gateway

Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices ensuring high availability and scalability

Optimize application performance and troubleshoot backend issues effectively

Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CICD pipelines and automate deployments

Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers

Engage with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business goals

Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability

Ensure security standards and compliance are met in all development activities

Qualification

Required

7 to 11+ years of experience in Java and AWS API Gateway

Design and develop robust backend services using Java with a focus on performance, scalability, and security

Utilize AWS API Gateway to build and manage scalable and secure RESTful APIs

Implement microservices architecture to support modular and maintainable applications

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps and frontend developers to deliver integrated solutions

Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security compliance

Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
