This role involves leading independent and collaborative projects and applying various advanced techniques in virology and cell biology.

Responsibilities

Lead independent and collaborative projects on respiratory virus–host mechanisms
Apply molecular virology, advanced cell culture systems (ALI and iPSC-derived models), microscopy, proteomics, and in vivo mouse models
Analyze data, write manuscripts, and present at lab meetings and conferences
Help mentor students and contribute to a supportive lab culture

Required

Preferred experience in one or more: respiratory viruses; cilia/airway epithelial models; microscopy; mouse models of infection
