Responsibilities
Build and Deploy a TPM Program: You'll play a key role in creating our Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) framework for the Inflation Department: Help design and roll out a full TPM program Implement 5S and improve workplace organization Map all equipment and replacement parts Identify and connect with suppliers Set up a Kanban system to keep production running smoothly Define daily/weekly/monthly maintenance routines Contribute to maintenance procedures and training content
Modernize Our Technical Documentation: Manage our technical documents within our Atlanta location: Improve document storage and access (CMMs, SBs, ADs, etc.) Create a smart, searchable index linked to part numbers Redesign folder structures for a smoother user experience Train technicians on the new system
Take Part in Engineering Project Management You will coordinate engineering projects with the support of our corporate teams based in Plaisir (France), giving you: Cross site collaboration Exposure to global standards The chance to develop real project management skills
Support Engineering Activities You'll also contribute to a variety of engineering and operational tasks: Organizing tool carts and managing tooling Reviewing technical documentation Assisting on improvement projects Participating in additional missions as opportunities arise
Qualification
Required
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business publications, professional journals, technical procedures, and regulatory documents
Capable of preparing reports, business communications, and procedural documentation
Must be able to present information clearly and respond effectively to questions from managers, customers, and broader audiences
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical analysis, including Six Sigma methodologies
Competence in applying tools such as Gage R&R, ANOVA, Design of Experiments (DOE), Control Charts, and Process Capability assessments
Graduated from a five year college or university pursuing a degree in engineering
Ability to identify problems, gather relevant data, establish facts, and draw sound conclusions
Must be able to interpret technical instructions presented in mathematical or diagrammatic form and manage both abstract and concrete variables
The role involves primarily seated work, with periods of standing and walking
Clear verbal communication and active listening are required
The work environment may involve proximity to moving mechanical parts, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and loud noise levels
Regular and reliable attendance is essential
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, including the ability to prepare written materials and deliver presentations
Must be able to read, understand, and critically review technical and non-technical documentation
