Responsibilities
Serve as an Antiterrorism Staff Officer for US Army Pacific, G34 Protection Directorate
Technical authority on antiterrorism and force protection program requirements
Conduct antiterrorism threat, vulnerability, criticality and risk assessments and analysis for inclusion in the US Army Pacific Antiterrorism regulation and strategic plan
Subject matter expert for policies and procedures governing antiterrorism protection disciplines that include physical, information, operational, personnel and industrial security
Conduct antiterrorism and force protection surveys, assessments, and assesses force protection policies and systems
Monitor command protection posture
Qualification
Required
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance
This position is designated as Drug Testing Required. Incumbent is subject to random urinalysis testing IAW DA guidelines. Incumbent must complete DA 5019
This position requires the incumbent to obtain the Antiterrorism Credential (ATC) within 2 years of employment
One year of specialized experience which includes drafting policies and procedures governing application of antiterrorism programs, implementing risk management strategies and antiterrorism strategic plans; and creating and assessing program requirements and training for force protection plans
Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12)
