Inventory Analyst

They are hiring a detail-driven and proactive Inventory Analyst to support operations by ensuring materials are accurately received, organized, tracked, and available when needed.

Responsibilities

Receive, unload, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and shipping documentation; escalate discrepancies or damage as needed
Safely transport materials to designated storage locations using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other approved equipment
Monitor inventory levels continuously to ensure materials are available to support production demand
Issue inventory to production as needed, ensuring accurate system transactions and documentation of material movement
Maintain real-time inventory accuracy through disciplined transaction processing, system updates, and physical verification
Own and execute routine cycle counts and inventory cycling activities; investigate variances, reconcile discrepancies, and support root cause analysis
Identify potential shortages, excess inventory, or at-risk materials and proactively communicate findings to Operations and Procurement
Organize, label, and store materials to maximize space utilization, accessibility, and traceability within the inventory management system
Maintain clean, safe, and well-organized inventory and storage areas
Accurately pick materials based on work orders, production schedules, and internal requests
Prepare materials for production or shipment by assembling, wrapping, labeling, and verifying accuracy prior to release
Support continuous improvement of inventory control processes and counting methodologies
Operate material handling equipment in compliance with company policies, OSHA requirements, and PPE standards
Identify and report safety hazards, damaged materials, or equipment malfunctions immediately
Maintain accurate records related to receiving, inventory movements, cycle counts, and inventory issuance
Communicate clearly with Operations, Production, and cross-functional partners to ensure smooth and reliable material flow
Perform periodic cycle counts and year-end inventory count

Required

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior experience in inventory, warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environments is preferred
Experience operating pallet jacks and other material handling equipment
Basic math and computer proficiency, including experience with inventory management or ERP systems
Strong attention to detail with a consistent focus on inventory accuracy and data integrity
Ability to perform physical tasks while maintaining disciplined documentation and system accuracy
Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry materials up to 30 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods

Preferred

Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus
Manufacturing and warehouse setting with potential exposure to dust and varying temperatures
May require working evenings, weekends, or holidays based on operational needs
