Responsibilities
Owning and optimizing live trading and market data systems
Designing monitoring, alerting, and observability tools to catch issues early
Deploying and tuning low-latency services such as matching engines and market data feeds
Managing and troubleshooting exchange incidents, latency spikes, and production issues in real time
Collaborating with traders, quants, and product teams to ensure high availability
Contributing to system-level design around performance, reliability, and disaster recovery
Building and maintaining APIs, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines that support trading operations
Qualification
Required
4+ years of experience in systems, backend, or trading infrastructure engineering
Direct experience working on live trading systems, exchanges, or real-time financial platforms
Strong programming skills in Go, Rust, or C++
Deep understanding of networking, distributed systems, and low-latency performance optimization
Hands-on experience with market data distribution, order management, and execution systems
Strong production mindset with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar
Experience operating infrastructure in AWS, GCP, or bare-metal environments
Preferred
Knowledge of FIX, WebSocket, and REST protocols
Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, or large-scale container orchestration
Background in HFT, derivatives, perpetuals, or crypto-native trading systems
Contributions to open-source trading or infrastructure projects
