Office Manager / Bookkeeper

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager / Bookkeeper to oversee daily office operations and manage financial records. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative, bookkeeping, and team management skills, ensuring a smooth workflow and accurate financial documentation.

Staffing & Recruiting

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day office operations, including front desk duties and multi-line phone systems
Oversee calendar management, scheduling appointments, meetings, and events
Handle bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks, including invoicing, expense tracking, and financial reporting
Manage payroll processing and human resources functions such as employee records and onboarding
Coordinate vendor management activities, including contracts and supply procurement
Assist with budgeting and financial planning to support organizational goals
Supervise administrative staff and oversee training & development initiatives
Maintain filing systems for documents, records, and correspondence
Ensure excellent communication with clients, vendors, and team members through phone etiquette and professional interaction
Support medical office management (if applicable) by overseeing compliance and operational procedures

Required

Proven experience in office management, clerical work, or administrative roles
Strong bookkeeping skills with proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software

Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Effective communication skills and professional phone etiquette
Ability to handle schedule management efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively
Human resources knowledge including payroll processing and employee recordkeeping
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Prior experience in medical office management is a plus but not required
