Intern- IT Credentialing Data Management
MaineHealth is the state of Maine’s largest employer, offering a summer internship program for students. The intern will work on improving the quality and reliability of data within the provider credentialing system and will be involved in enhancing reporting capabilities and developing dashboards.

Responsibilities
Provide technical support to the users and manage the software database itself
Build Data Validation Reports
Enhance the existing validation system
Expand the Power BI reporting capabilities
Help develop additional dashboards from the centralized credentialing database
Qualification
Required
Student who is currently enrolled in a two-year Associate's Degree program, Bachelor's Degree program, or graduate-level program preferred
Strong technical and analytical skills, including proficiency in SQL Server (query development, data validation, and database automation)
Proficiency in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, and dashboard design)
Proficiency in Python (data manipulation and process automation)
Advanced Excel skills such as using pivot tables, Power Query, and excel formulas
Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities
Attention to detail
Interest in improving data quality and business reporting
Preferred
Students majoring in Business, Management, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related fields are encouraged to apply
